This is an impressive action packed tour and is one of the most excursions. It begins with a guided tour up into the clouds of the impressive Wat, Doi Suthep. The Wat is one of the oldest temples in Thailand and is built upon the tallest awe inspiring mountains in Chiang Mai. It is a breath taking combination. The Tour then takes the back road down from Doi Suthep OFF-ROAD! You will love this exciting, steep and narrow drive, especially in the wet season. If this is not excitement enough, next on the agenda is for you to experience white-water rafting and then continue to Pai and the beautiful flower covered slopes of Mae Hong Son with more OFF-ROAD adventure on the edge of the Thai Burmese border.

Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Chiang Mai - Pai (L,D)

08.30: Convenient pick up from a large number of hotels in Chiang Mai to visit Doi Suthep Temple, light some incense and pay respect to the deities + enjoy the stunning views across Chaing Mai and the jungle foothills. After such a serene encounter your tropical off road experience will begin by taking the back way down the mountain

Once back onto level ground we will travel to the white will have some more fun with a "Very Wet" and fun white water raft trip down the Maetang River. The exciting trip to Pai is a wonder unto itself. Once settled into your Pai resort, a dinner has been arranged for you prior to a tour of this unparalleled & unique community.

Day 02: Pai - Mae Hong Son (B,L,D)

08.30: Plan to spending 3-4 hours off-road up the mountain to Maehongson with stops at the magnificent Lod cave and lunch event once in Maehongson once you've uncounted you elephant and blood circulations restored, following a check-in, hot shower and dinner, you free to explore this indescribable lake & temple.

Day 03: Mae Hong Son - Chiang Mai (B,L)

08.30: You will experience the Buddhist temples of Wat Phra That Doi Kong Moo, Wat Phra That Jong Klang prior to Karen Village, Waterfall and fish cave we'll return you to Chiangmai by the non extraordinary way, Today expect 3 hours off-roading through Wat Chan up to the high mountain surrounded by greenish forest with magnificent views and giant lake, also a few hill tribes such as Karen and Lahu before transfer back to Chiang Mai.
