KRABI TROPICAL BEACH RESORT (formerly known as K.T. Bay Resort) is one of the few resorts with direct beach access in the area of Ao Nang and Ao-Namao. It offers the perfect location to relax and to spend a memorable time here in Krabi. Our resort is located in a very private and quiet surroundings, sharing this whole beach with only another single eco resort . Privacy can be assured at our resort since we only offer 15 units. If you like it quiet and far away from the crowds, this is the right place. Our small resort suits young families as well as couples and all friends of nature, but is far from entertaining and shopping (Ao Nang 6 km).

The Beach of Ao-Namao is located directly at our doorstep, providing a breathtaking view over the surrounding islands and the famous rock formations. You may also want to watch the long tail boats departing for the famous Rayavadee Resort at Railay Beach. During low tide (no typical swimming beach, cf. beach pictures) you can relax in our SALT TREATED SWIMMING POOL (minimal amount of chlorine), enjoy the fantastic view in our beach front jacuzzi and have your children play in the sand or kids pool.  

Our family-friendly resort is just a 5-minute drive away from the famous main tourist centre Ao Nang. Within a few minutes you can reach the Islands PODA and CHICKEN as well as the popular SANDBANKS and the famous RAILAY BEACH by boat. At our resort we offer you FREE OF CHARGE onside facilities and services such as high speed internet at the lobby, mountain bikes and kayak. Our resort offers WiFi internet access at all areas at reasonable prices. At our TOUR DESK you can book various trips and activities such as diving, snorkeling, rafting, elephant- and horseback riding, rock climbing, Thai cooking classes as well as pampering massages.

Our FREE OF CHARGE TRANSFER SERVICE from/to Ao Nang (once daily) as well as the local busses that depart every 15 minutes, are offering a good connection to the tourist sites Ao Nang and Krabi Town.

SUPERIOR

SUPERIOR PREMIUM:
Connecting room to Deluxe Premium (ideal for families), 32 sqms with kitchenette, and private terrace, but no sea view. Bathroom with bathtub, twin beds, fully equipped.

DELUXE TYPE
DELUXE SINGLE with sea view:
18 sqms, private sea view balcony, bathroom with shower,double bed, fully equipped. Suits single or double occupancy. Additional bedding not possible.

DELUXE SEA VIEW:
30 sqms, private sea view balcony, bathroom with shower,double bed, fully equipped.

DELUXE PREMIUM:
Pool & Sea View, 24 sqms, private patio with garden access, bathroom with bathtub, double bed, fully equipped. Can be booked as connecting room to Superior Premium.

FAMILY APARTMENT:
FAMILY APARTMENT TYPE A
Pool & Sea View, 56 sqms, with patio. One bedroom with 2 king size beds. Kitchenette and sofa with 32" LCD TV. Bathroom with rain shower. Just few steps from the pool and beach. Easy accessibility because ground floor, no stairs.

FAMILY APARTMENT TYPE B
Garden View, 56 sqms, with patio. One bedroom with 2 king size beds. Kitchenette and sofa with 32"LCD TV. Bathroom with rain shower. Just few steps from the pool and beach. Easy accessibility because ground floor, no stairs.

Restaurants:

Lavinia Bakery and Restaurant
Located at the beach road of Ao Nang, Lavinia House & Cafe opened in 1996. It was the first Cafe on the beach road and  since then we have been trying to improve the standards in Ao Nang, using only imported and the best ingredients available on the local market.
We have then re-opened the place as Lavinia Bakery, Pizzeria and Restaurant.
Not satisfied with the quality and taste of some supplied products, we started to produce our own pastry and fresh pasta.
For our bakery, we imported a professional German Stone oven (Winkler Wachtel) - croissants for instance taste good baked in such an oven only- and  the first and only stone oven in Krabi from Italy, Modena.We believe that Pizzas made in wood-fired ovens do not meet international health and hygiene standards, especially if not built by professionals.

Child policy:
- 1 child under 12 years sharing the room with parents without extra bed is free of charge
Breakfast will be charged 150 Baht per day from 4 - 11 years
- Maximum 1 free child per room, extra bed rate for 2nd child applies, but only 400 Baht incl. breakfast up to 6 years
- Baby cot is available on request and free of charge
